Sunday Worship 10:33am
We model Christ’s compassion in these ways:
Night of Hope is a ministry that serves families within a small apartment complex. One Friday night a month the Night of Hope team goes into the complex to serve and share a meal, build relationships, identify and meet needs and encourage residents. This ministry has given us the great opportunity to be real to our community and to give God a good name among many people who may not ever enter a church. Our aim is to get outside the four walls of the church and represent Christ as a reliable, loving presence in our community.
Empowerment Outreach, a coalition of black and white church leaders and congregations, works together for the transformation of the Huffsmith community. Predominately a black, poor neighborhood, Huffsmith is another opportunity for us to consistently offer the hope and love of Christ.
Global Missionary Outreach: As a congregation of The International Church of the Nazarene, New Life Community also helps support over 700 missionaries in 154 world areas. One aspect of this ministry is a global partnership with the Jesus Film Ministry, whereby millions of people around the world have made decisions for Christ.
